Baumit UniFix is a high-quality, mineral, cement-based adhesive mortar designed for fixing both white and graphite EPS (expanded polystyrene) boards. The adhesive is distinguished by its high adhesion to mineral substrates such as concrete, aerated concrete, ceramics, sand-lime brick, or cement-lime plaster, while offering the possibility of correcting slight unevenness in the wall surfaces on which it is applied. Baumit UniFix EPS adhesive mortar is available as a dry mix, ready to use after mixing with water. The adhesive is highly vapor permeable, preventing water vapor condensation and ensuring the long-term durability of the insulation. It is characterized by ease of preparation and application, making it an ideal solution for both professionals and DIY insulation projects. During application, the 'bead and point' (ribbon and dab) method is recommended to ensure the proper thickness and distribution of the adhesive layer, resulting in stable and secure bonding of the EPS boards to the building walls.
